Description
A healthy and delicious side dish made from sweet potatoes, cooked in an air fryer for a crispy texture.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Peel the sweet potatoes and cut them into 1-inch cubes.
- In a large mixing bowl, add the cubed sweet potatoes and pour in the olive oil. Sprinkle with paprika, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Toss to coat.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Place the seasoned sweet potato cubes in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
- Check for doneness after 15 minutes. The cubes should be tender inside and crispy outside. If not done, cook for a few more minutes.
Notes
- Choose firm sweet potatoes without blemishes for the best flavor.
- Cut the sweet potatoes into uniform sizes for even cooking.
- Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket to achieve a crispy texture.
- Check the sweet potatoes a few minutes before the suggested cooking time to prevent overcooking.
