Lemon Blossom Cream Martini

  • Author: Imili Johnson
  • Total Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 oz vanilla vodka 🍦

  • 1 oz limoncello 🍋

  • 1 oz cream or half & half 🧴

  • ½ oz elderflower liqueur (e.g., St-Germain) 🌸

  • ½ oz fresh lemon juice 🍋

  • Ice 🧊

  • Garnish: Edible flower 🌼 and lemon twist 🍋

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Glass:
Begin by chilling your martini glass in the freezer for 10–15 minutes or fill it with ice water while you prep the ingredients.

  2. Measure and Pour:
In a cocktail shaker, pour in 2 oz vanilla vodka, 1 oz limoncello, 1 oz cream (or half & half), ½ oz elderflower liqueur, and ½ oz fresh lemon juice.

  3. Add Ice:
Fill the shaker with a generous amount of ice. This will ensure your martini is properly chilled and slightly diluted for a smooth finish.

  4. Shake Vigorously:
Shake for about 15 seconds until the outside of the shaker is frosty and cold. This blends the cream thoroughly and gives the drink a silky texture.

  5. Strain:
Discard the ice from the chilled martini glass if you used it, and double strain the cocktail into the glass to remove any pulp or ice shards.

  6. Garnish:
Top with an edible flower for beauty and aroma. Add a lemon twist to bring out the citrus note even more.

  7. Serve Immediately:
Sip slowly and enjoy the floral-citrus symphony with each creamy, balanced sip.

Notes

  • Pre-mix the vanilla vodka, limoncello, elderflower liqueur, and lemon juice up to 24 hours ahead and refrigerate.

  • Only add the cream and shake just before serving to preserve freshness and texture.

  • Garnishes like edible flowers and lemon twists can be prepped hours ahead and stored in the fridge with a damp paper towel.
