Ingredients
-
1 cup Amaretto liqueur
-
2 cups pineapple juice (chilled)
-
1 cup orange juice (fresh or store-bought, chilled)
-
1 cup coconut water
-
½ cup grenadine syrup
-
Ice cubes
-
Fresh fruit slices for garnish (orange, pineapple, lime, cherries)
Instructions
-
Chill the Base
In a large pitcher or punch bowl, combine 2 cups of pineapple juice, 1 cup of orange juice, and 1 cup of coconut water. Stir gently until evenly mixed. -
Add the Amaretto
Pour in 1 cup of Amaretto liqueur. Stir again to fully integrate the flavors. At this point, you can taste and adjust by adding more juice if desired. -
Layer the Grenadine
Slowly pour the ½ cup of grenadine syrup into the mixture. To create a layered, sunset effect, pour it gently along the side of the pitcher or down the back of a spoon so it settles at the bottom. -
Add Ice and Garnish
Fill glasses or the punch bowl with plenty of ice cubes. Add fresh fruit slices like orange wheels, pineapple wedges, and maraschino cherries for that island look. -
Serve
Gently stir if you prefer a uniform color, or leave it layered for visual impact. Pour into glasses and serve chilled.
Notes
Use fresh juices where possible for a more vibrant flavor. If you’re prepping for a party, you can pre-mix everything except the ice and grenadine—just add those right before serving to keep the layers and chill.
