Instructions
Preparation
Step 1: Prepare the Red Layer
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of boiling water with the red gelatin. Stir until completely dissolved.
- Add ½ cup of peppermint schnapps and ½ cup of cold water to the gelatin mixture. Mix well.
- Pour a thin layer of the red gelatin mixture into individual shot glasses or a silicone mold. Refrigerate for 30–45 minutes until set.
Step 2: Prepare the White Layer
- In a separate bowl, dissolve the unflavored gelatin in 1 cup of boiling water. Stir until fully dissolved.
- Add the sweetened condensed milk, ½ cup of peppermint schnapps, and ½ cup of cold water. Mix until smooth.
- Once the red layer is set, carefully pour a thin layer of the white mixture on top. Refrigerate again for 30–45 minutes until firm.
Step 3: Repeat Layers
- Alternate red and white layers until your shot glasses are full, refrigerating between each layer to ensure they set properly.
