Ingredients:
- 1 cup (240 ml) cold water
- 1 packet (0.14 oz) Kool-Aid drink mix (any flavor)
- 3 tbsp unflavored gelatin (about 3 packets)
- ½ cup (100 g) granulated sugar
- Cooking spray (for molds, optional)
Instructions
Preparation:
1: Bloom the Gelatin
- Pour cold water into a small saucepan.
- Sprinkle 3 tbsp unflavored gelatin evenly over the water.
- Let it sit for 5 minutes so the gelatin can absorb the water and bloom.
2: Heat & Dissolve the Ingredients
- Turn the heat to low and begin stirring.
- Add the Kool-Aid mix and granulated sugar, stirring continuously.
- Heat for about 3–5 minutes, making sure the mixture does not boil, but all ingredients dissolve completely.
- Once the mixture is smooth and slightly thickened, remove from heat.
3: Pour into Molds
- Lightly spray silicone molds with cooking spray to prevent sticking. (If using a baking dish, lightly grease it and line with parchment paper.)
- Carefully pour the warm mixture into the molds using a small spoon or dropper.
- Let the gummies sit at room temperature for 10–15 minutes, then transfer to the refrigerator for 1–2 hours to fully set.
4: Remove & Enjoy!
- Once firm, pop the gummies out of the molds.
- If using a baking dish, cut them into bite-sized pieces.
- Enjoy immediately or store for later!
