One-Pan Air Fryer Shrimp, Sausage & Broccoli Meal Prep

  • Author: Imili Johnson
  • Total Time: 28 minutes

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 12 ounces smoked sausage (like chicken or turkey sausage), sliced into 1/4-inch rounds
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional for spice)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional for garnish)

Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients

  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
  • While the air fryer is preheating, rinse and pat dry the shrimp, and place them in a bowl.
  • In a separate bowl, combine the sliced smoked sausage and broccoli florets.

Step 2: Season the Shrimp, Sausage, and Broccoli

  • Drizzle 1 tablespoon of olive oil over the shrimp, sausage, and broccoli.
  • In a small bowl, mix the smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper flakes (if using), salt, and pepper.
  • Divide the spice mixture evenly between the shrimp, sausage, and broccoli, tossing each separately to ensure everything is well-coated.

Step 3: Air Fry the Sausage and Broccoli

  • Once the air fryer is preheated, place the seasoned sausage and broccoli in the basket in an even layer.
  • Air fry the sausage and broccoli for 10 minutes at 400°F (200°C), shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking.

Step 4: Add the Shrimp to the Air Fryer

  • After 10 minutes, open the air fryer basket and add the shrimp on top of the sausage and broccoli.
  • Air fry for an additional 6-8 minutes, or until the shrimp are pink and opaque, and the sausage is slightly crispy. Shake the basket once during cooking for even browning.

Step 5: Serve or Pack for Meal Prep

  • Once everything is cooked through, remove the shrimp, sausage, and broccoli from the air fryer and allow it to cool slightly if meal prepping.
  • Serve immediately with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice over the top for brightness, or divide into meal prep containers for later.
  • Garnish with freshly chopped parsley if desired.
