Preparation:
Step 1:
Start by preparing the peanut butter rim. If desired, dip the rim of a rocks glass in a bit of chocolate syrup, then roll it in crushed peanuts to coat the rim. Set the glass aside.
Step 2:
In a cocktail shaker, combine the vodka, coffee liqueur, heavy cream, peanut butter, and simple syrup (if using).
Step 3:
Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for 15-20 seconds. This ensures that the peanut butter is well incorporated with the other ingredients.
Step 4:
Strain the mixture into the prepared rocks glass filled with ice.
Step 5:
Garnish with a peanut butter cup on the rim or sprinkle some crushed peanuts on top for added texture and flavor.
Notes
- Make sure to use creamy peanut butter for a smooth drink. If using natural peanut butter, stir well before adding it to the cocktail to avoid oil separation.
