  • Author: Imili Johnson
  • Total Time: 7 min

Ingredients

Scale

Ingredients

  • 4 oz Champagne or Prosecco
  • 4 oz Orange juice (freshly squeezed for the best flavor!)
  • 1 oz Blue Curaçao (for a vibrant green color!)
  • 1 oz Midori Melon Liqueur (optional, for extra green + a fruity twist!)
  • Green sanding sugar (for rimming the glasses)
  • Orange slices or mint sprigs (for garnish)

Instructions

Preparation

Step 1: Rim the Glasses

Dip the rim of each champagne flute in orange juice, then coat with green sanding sugar for a festive touch.

Step 2: Mix the Base

In each glass, pour ½ oz Blue Curaçao and ½ oz Midori (if using).

Step 3: Add Orange Juice

Slowly pour 2 oz of freshly squeezed orange juice into each glass.

Step 4: Top with Bubbles

Gently top off each glass with 2 oz of Champagne or Prosecco.

Step 5: Garnish and Serve

Garnish with an orange slice or a sprig of mint for a fresh, festive finish. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • Chill Your Ingredients: Cold ingredients enhance the refreshing nature of the drink.
  • Balance the Flavors: Adjust Blue Curaçao and Midori amounts for the perfect color and taste.
  • Gently Pour Champagne: Prevent overflow by tilting the glass when adding Champagne.
  • Use a Champagne Flute: Enhances bubbles and presentation.
