Lower the heat and stir in the uncooked Minute Rice. Mix thoroughly, ensuring the rice is evenly coated in the seasoned liquid.

Cover the skillet with a lid and let it cook for 5 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the liquid has been absorbed.

Remove the lid and stir in the salsa and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix until everything is evenly incorporated and the cheese is melted.
Step 6:
Serve the Taco Rice hot, garnished with additional cheese, sour cream, or chopped green onions if desired.
