Instructions
Preparation:
1: Prepare the Cookie Crust
- In a medium bowl, mix the chocolate cookie crumbs with melted butter until the crumbs are evenly coated.
- Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan to form an even crust.
- Freeze the crust for 15 minutes to set.
2: Add the First Ice Cream Layer
- Spread the softened vanilla ice cream evenly over the chilled crust.
- Freeze for 20-30 minutes, or until the layer is firm.
3: Add the Second Ice Cream Layer
- Spread the softened mint chocolate chip or white chocolate ice cream over the vanilla layer. Smooth the top with a spatula.
- Freeze for at least 30 minutes, or until the layers are completely set.
4: Add the Whipped Topping
- Spread the whipped topping evenly over the top ice cream layer, creating a smooth, fluffy surface.
- Return the cake to the freezer and freeze for at least 2 hours, or overnight, to ensure it is fully set.
5: Decorate the Cake
- Just before serving, sprinkle the whipped topping with white sugar sprinkles, edible glitter, and candy snowflakes or silver dragees.
- Add optional garnishes like chocolate shavings, peppermint candies, or mini marshmallows for extra flair.
6: Serve and Enjoy
- Carefully remove the springform pan and transfer the cake to a serving platter.
- Slice with a hot knife (run the knife under hot water and dry it before slicing) and serve immediately.
