Ingredients (Makes 2–4 shots)

1 fresh lime (for juice and rimming)

3 drops purple food coloring

½ cup vodka

⅓ cup fresh lime juice (from 2–3 limes)

¼ cup raspberry liqueur (like Chambord)

Preparation
Step 1: Prepare the glass rim
Cut the lime in half and squeeze a bit of juice into a shallow saucer. Add 3 drops of purple food coloring and stir with a cocktail stick or spoon. In another shallow saucer, add the granulated sugar. Dip the rims of your shot or cocktail glasses into the colored lime juice, then into the sugar to coat. Set aside to dry slightly.
Step 2: Mix the potion
In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine ½ cup vodka, ⅓ cup fresh lime juice, and ¼ cup raspberry liqueur. Shake well for about 15 seconds until cold and well mixed.
Step 3: Strain and serve
Strain the chilled mixture into your prepared glasses. Garnish with a gummy bat, candy eyeball, or serve with just the shimmering purple sugar rim.
