For the Stir-Fry:
- 1 lb large shrimp (peeled, deveined)
- 2 sausages (smoked, Andouille, or kielbasa, sliced)

For the Honey Garlic Sauce:
- 4 garlic cloves (minced)
- ¼ cup honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce (low sodium)

- ½ teaspoon chili flakes (optional, for heat)
For the Cauliflower Rice:
- 4 cups cauliflower rice (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Juice of ½ lemon
For Topping:
- Chopped fresh parsley or basil
- Lemon wedges
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Ingredients
- Slice the sausage into thin rounds and season the shrimp lightly with salt and pepper.
- If using bell pepper, slice it into thin strips for a burst of color and extra flavor.
Step 2: Make the Honey Garlic Sauce
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, rice vinegar, sesame oil, and chili flakes (if using). Set aside.
Step 3: Cook the Sausage
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the sausage slices and cook for 4-5 minutes until browned on the edges. Remove the sausage from the skillet and set aside.
Step 4: Cook the Shrimp
- In the same skillet, add 1 tablespoon of butter.
- Add the shrimp and sauté for 2-3 minutes per side until they turn pink and opaque. Remove from the skillet and set aside with the sausage.
Step 5: Prepare the Cauliflower Rice
- In a separate pan, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the cauliflower rice and sauté for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender.
- Season with salt, pepper, and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice for brightness.
Step 6: Combine Shrimp, Sausage, and Sauce
- Return the sausage and shrimp to the skillet. Pour the honey garlic sauce over them and stir to coat everything evenly.
- Let the sauce bubble and thicken for 1-2 minutes.
Step 7: Assemble and Serve
- Serve the honey garlic shrimp and sausage mixture over a bed of cauliflower rice.
- Garnish with chopped parsley or basil and serve with extra lemon wedges on the side for added zest.
