Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Cornbread

Preheat the Oven:

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Grease an 8-inch square baking dish or a cast-iron skillet to prevent sticking.

Mix the Dry Ingredients:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine cornmeal, flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. Whisk the ingredients together until evenly combined.

Combine the Wet Ingredients:

  1. In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, vegetable oil, and eggs until smooth.
